The Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper® (LSR) is an alliance builder, diplomat, educator, advocate and a voice of the Susquehanna and the Chesapeake Bay.

The LSR works to improve ecological health, promote wise use of all aquatic resources and preserve the aesthetic value of our waterways.

The LSR utilizes education, chemical and biological monitoring, pollution patrols, partnership building, public events, and file reviews. LSR assists government by reporting non-compliance of the law.

LSR stewards the Juniata and Susquehanna Rivers and their tributaries. This area stretches from Sunbury, PA to Havre de Grace, MD where the Susquhanna flows into the Chesapeake Bay.
