About the event

In 2024, Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association with the help of dedicated volunteers, executed a successful 15 week Bacteria Monitoring campaign to provide community awareness of E.coli collected from 15 recreationally used water access sites in the Lower Susquehanna River Watershed.

For 2025, we are looking to expand this program and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join us for a free, 1-hour, Virtual Introduction to Bacteria Monitoring and learn how to become a volunteer!

We will cover all you need to sign up for our in-person Bacteria Monitor Training. The introduction will include a general overview of how the program is conducted and operated, information about what the programs weekly routine looks like, where we hope to monitor in 2025, and which sites will need volunteers the most.

Please let us know that you are attending our "Virtual Introduction to Bacteria Monitoring" by providing your contact information below then clicking on the "Register" button at the bottom of this page.

Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you there!
